Tariqul Islam Herok, born in 1994 in Munshiganj, Dhaka, is an emerging artist having earned his BFA and MFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2017 and 2019 respectively. His journey is marked by numerous accolades include the prestigious 2020 Best Award (Painting) at the 22nd Young Artists Exhibition and the esteemed Zainul Abedin Gold Medal in 2018. His academic excellence was acknowledged with the Student of The Year Award for achieving the highest CGPA from the Drawing & Painting Department in the same year.
