MD. Rashedul Huda Sharkar, born in 1964 in Rangpur, Bangladesh, holds an MFA from the University of Dhaka's Institute of Fine Arts. He's been a Lecturer at the Narayangonj Fine Art Institute since December 2003. Along his journey, he's earned accolades like a nomination for Best Work (Painting) at the International Biennial of Miniature Arts in Timisoara, Romania (2020), an Honorable Mention at the 36th AJAC Exhibition in YOKOHAMA, Japan (2010), and the Best Award in Experimental Sculpture from the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka (1994). His exhibitions include solo showcases at Alliance Francaise, Dhaka (2017) and Chuwa Gallery, Tokyo, Japan (2007), among others, displaying his artistic prowess across various platforms since his first solo exhibition in Gaibandha in 1989.
