Nabaraj Roy, born in 1989 in Faridpur, draws inspiration from cultural heritage and folklore. His paintings, influenced by local toy dolls and folk culture, focus on conveying emotions rather than tangible objects. As his art leans towards abstraction, Roy aims to express his innermost feelings.
His paintings mirror Bangladesh's cultural history, aligning with the country's modernization. Roy intentionally transforms forms, abandoning conventional shapes to emphasize emotions in his compositions. Driven by an appreciation for nature's diverse forms, his art captures contradictions in urban and rural settings, reflecting the profound impact of this interplay.
Roy's artistic evolution is showcased in an exhibition, offering viewers an immersive experience. His unique interpretations reflect personal emotions and contribute to the broader cultural narrative of Bangladesh.
