Kunta Barai, is an independent visual artist from Bangladesh, born in Barisal on August 16th, 1987. He completed his Bachelors from the University of Development Alternative, (UODA), majored in Painting in 2010 and completed his Masters from the University of Development Alternative, (UODA), majored in Painting in 2012. Toufiq has showcased his solo paintings in exhibitions like “Displaced in Dhaka” La Galerie, Alliance Francaise de Dhaka in 2018. Additionally, he has actively participated in numerous group exhibitions including the 18th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh, National Art Gallery, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Dhaka in 2022, 24th National Art Exhibition by Bangladesh National Art Gallery, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Dhaka in 2021, Tokyo International Mini-Print Triennial, Japan in 2018 and many more.
