Jayatu Chakma, born on January 10, 1990, is a Bangladeshi multidisciplinary visual artist based in Dhaka, currently residing at House 337, Road 6, East Kazipara, Mirpur. Originally from Niribili Adam, Uddan Unnayan Board, Rangamati, he holds a rich background in painting, curatorial practice, and art administration. Deeply rooted in his indigenous identity, Jayatu’s artistic vision centers on participatory art and the representation of marginalized narratives. His works have been exhibited both locally and internationally.
