Hasura Akther Rumky (b 1994) Her artworks are deeply inspired by her emotional experiences and journey as an artist,People are the main subject of Hasura Akther Rumky's paintings. The artist is proficient in the use of pastel, acrylic, charcoal, and natural materials , pigments like soil . In her painting, there is illusion , silence , emotions and longing for human connection. Rumky has so far participated in a number of group art exhibitions, workshops, art camps, projects, residencies and solo exhibition held both at home and abroad. From the year 2019 to 2022, she worked as an Assistant Coordinator for the Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 2022 at the Department of Fine Arts, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
